Meet Dr. John Redhead

Dr John Redhead

Finding Chiropractic

As a teenager Dr. John loved playing soccer for his high school team in Morton, Illinois until an injury prevented him from playing any further. This set back in his athletic career allowed him to explore various career options in which he found and fell in love with chiropractic. Since age 16, Dr. John knew he wanted to serve people as a chiropractor. He made his way to Palmer College, the original school for chiropractic, where he graduated in 2019.

Chiropractic Philosophy

While at Palmer, Dr. John developed a passion for sports chiropractic and rehabilitation of injuries. He worked as an intern in the sports rehabilitation center and became a teaching assistant in the clinic where he helped oversee the adjusting and patient care of his peers. Dr. John decided that despite his knowledge in the realm of sports, these were not the only patients he wanted to help. Now, Dr. John works almost exclusively in family care and preventative chiropractic. He believes in wellness care to maintain a healthy spine and body. Dr. John’s goal is to help every person who walks through the door live their healthiest life. He loves to continue his education in chiropractic through his involvement in the Massachusetts Alliance for Chiropractic Philosophy, the Massachusetts Chiropractic Society, and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.

Outside the Office

Dr. John moved to Massachusetts with his fiancé, their two miniature schnauzers (Cora and Roman) and their cat (Leo). His fiancé, Dr. Katherine Roose, is also a chiropractor and was Dr. John’s motivation to learn about wellness care. His sports passion lies in European football which he grew up watching with his dad and now watches with his family. Like most people his age, he will occasionally watch a good show, his favorite being The Last Kingdom, or fire up a video game, such as FIFA.
